Saturday Pallet Delivery

Saturday delivery is a special service for pallet orders, with a £79 delivery charge in place of the standard delivery charge. It can't be selected at checkout. Contact us before ordering with the products, quantities and delivery address, and we'll set up your order and send you a payment link. A pallet dispatched on a Friday can be delivered the next day. Saturday delivery isn't available for parcels.

Tracking and Delivery Windows

  • You'll receive a dispatch email with your tracking link (please check your spam folder).
  • DPD and DX Express: a 2-hour delivery window by email or SMS on the day.
  • Pallet deliveries: the courier sends a delivery window by text or email on the day of delivery. If your tracking shows delivery today but no window has arrived by mid-morning, message us and we'll chase the courier for you.
  • DX Freight: delivery between 7am and 6pm, with no 2-hour window.
  • Someone should be available to receive your delivery. If you'd like a pallet left without a signature, contact us before the delivery day and we'll arrange a leave safe instruction with the courier. Goods left safe are at your own risk.
  • If you need next-day delivery on a pallet order, please contact us before ordering.

Pallet Deliveries

  • Pallets are delivered on a rigid lorry with a tail-lift, roughly the size of a standard bin lorry. We don't use articulated lorries.
  • If access to your address is restricted (for example a narrow lane or low bridge), let us know and we can arrange a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle at no extra cost, even after your order has been dispatched.
  • Pallets are unloaded by pallet truck to kerbside only. We can't deliver inside, up stairs or steps, or over gravel or loose stone, so a solid surface is needed.
  • Someone must be present to receive the delivery, unless you've arranged a leave safe instruction with us in advance.

By ordering, you agree to provide accurate contact details and be available on the delivery date. You must ensure suitable access for delivery. Redelivery, return and storage charges may apply if delivery fails because your address is inaccessible or no one is present when the driver arrives.

Changing a Pallet Delivery Date

If you need your pallet delivered on a later date, contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet and your date is at least 5 working days away, we'll hold the order and dispatch it 2 working days before your chosen date. Otherwise, our team will arrange the new date with the courier and confirm it with you.

Damages

Please check your order on delivery and report any damage within 48 hours, with photos of the item and packaging and your order number. We'll review your photos and confirm the next steps. Failure to report damage within this time may affect claims.

Free Delivery and Partial Returns

Orders over £300 (including VAT) qualify for free standard delivery to the UK mainland. Free delivery is based on the final value of the order you keep.

If you return part of an order and the value you keep falls below the £300 free delivery threshold, we may deduct the original delivery cost from your refund. This is the delivery charge that would have applied at the time of purchase had the order been below the threshold, based on the weight, size and delivery location of the original order.

This applies to partial returns, cancelled items, refused deliveries, and exchanges where the revised order total no longer qualifies for free delivery. Any deduction will be shown clearly in your refund confirmation.

The quality of the mats feels good and durable. Yet to put them to use but for a small gym area they work well.

I bought the 10mm tiles to lay on concrete with a 5mm underlay underneath.

It’ll take a bit of elbow grease to cut them but use a sharp Stanley blade and it should make it easier.

Only 2 things to be mindful of is some don’t lay flush against another. There might be 1-2mm gaps but if packed tightly it minimises that quite a bit. Second thing is dust particles/dirt can be a little tricky to get out as it gets in between the rubber particles. A wet cloth with enough water to get in between but not enough to leave a puddle should get rid. So if you use chalk be mindful of that (or any DIY dust as I experienced)

Thank you for the detailed review, Leslie! We’re pleased you’re happy with the quality and feel of the mats.

To help with the joints, our product page explains that 10mm tiles have a dimensional tolerance of ±1.5%. Dry laying first, rotating or swapping individual tiles, and using a staggered brickwork layout can help achieve tighter joints.

You’re right that a fresh, sharp Stanley blade makes cutting easier. Using a straight edge and making several controlled passes also helps.

For dust and chalk, vacuum or sweep with a soft brush first, then use a damp microfibre mop with a pH-neutral rubber-floor cleaner. Keep water to a minimum, as excess moisture can seep through the joints and collect underneath.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

I purchased 30mm rubber flooring to fit into a new garden workshop (30SqM). The mats were easy to fit, easy to cut to fit edges and super quality for the kind of machinery and work the unit will be used for. We are now using the workshop and the mats are great, giving a really solid feel, cushioning and further warmth to the already insulated building. The flooring sound is also really solid and sturdy, holding machinery of 1-200kg without marking.

Thanks for such a detailed review! Glad you found it was easy to cut the mats to fit into your space, and especially that they've made a big, noticeable difference to how your workshop functions!

1

Interlocking connectors

Plastic connectors hold 20mm, 30mm and 40mm tiles in line so the joints stay tight. Allow around 3–4 per tile depending on the layout. 10mm and 15mm tiles have a lay-flat base and don't use them.

2

Edge ramps

Sloped edging for exposed sides and doorways, so the floor finishes cleanly with no step to catch a foot on. Choose ramps that match your tile thickness. They are made for 15mm, 20mm, 30mm and 40mm tiles.

3

Rubber floor adhesive

Only needed for perimeter tiles, edge ramps and permanent installations. Tiles laid wall to wall on a clean, dry, level floor stay in place under their own weight.

Maximum drop figures are a guide: the right thickness also depends on the subfloor, drop height and how often weights are dropped. Check actual tile dimensions and dry lay before cutting.

Which thickness do I need?
  • 10mm: cardio equipment, benches and light free weights. Drops up to 80kg.
  • 15mm: general home gyms and moderate dumbbell training. Drops up to 110kg.
  • 20mm: free-weight areas, heavier dumbbells and general commercial use. Drops up to 140kg.
  • 30mm: heavy strength training, power racks and higher-impact lifting. Drops up to 200kg.
  • 40mm: Olympic lifting and repeated heavy use. Drops up to 260kg.

These are guide figures. The right thickness also depends on your subfloor, the drop height and how often weights are dropped.

Read the full thickness guide

Will every tile measure exactly 1 m?

Each tile is a nominal 1 m × 1 m. Moulded rubber shrinks slightly as it cools. Our 15mm, 20mm, 30mm and 40mm tiles are made to a tolerance of 0.4–1%, so a tile may measure about 990mm to 1010mm. Our 10mm tiles have a larger tolerance of ±1.5%.

Dry lay the floor first, rotate or swap tiles to tighten the joints, and leave perimeter cuts until last. A staggered brickwork layout helps hide small differences. Tiles within tolerance meet the product specification.

Can the tiles be cut to fit?

Yes. Use a sharp retractable knife and a straight edge, and change the blade often. Resting the tile on a length of wood under the cut line helps the cut open as you work. Thicker tiles take several passes.

Tiles are only made as 1 m × 1 m squares, so we can't supply custom sizes or cut them for you.

How to lay and cut rubber gym tiles

Do I need adhesive or underlay?

Usually not. Laid wall to wall on a clean, dry, level floor, the tiles are heavy enough to stay in place, and no underlay is needed over concrete.

Where an edge is left open, secure it with edge ramps or a suitable adhesive. 10mm and 15mm tiles don't take connectors, so adhesive is the way to add restraint.

Do I need connectors or edge ramps?

Connectors are compatible with the 20mm, 30mm and 40mm tiles. The fitting guidance suggests approximately 3–4 connectors per tile, depending on layout. Edge ramps can help finish exposed edges; match them to your thickness. Explore fitting accessories.

How to use gym mat connectors

Can I lay the tiles over underfloor heating?

We don't hold tested thermal resistance (R-value or tog) figures for these tiles. Rubber is an insulator, so it will reduce the heat reaching the room. Please check with your heating designer or installer before ordering.

What you can lay the tiles on, floor by floor

Can I use the tiles outside?

The tiles are made for indoor use. They suit garages, sheds and garden rooms with a dry, level floor.

We don't recommend laying them outdoors. They are water resistant, not waterproof, and sun and standing water will shorten their life. Outdoor use isn't covered by the warranty.

Can I use the tiles for something other than a gym floor?

You're welcome to. Customers also use them in play areas, workshops and utility rooms. The tiles are made and warranted as indoor gym flooring, so the warranty covers use as a gym floor only, and we can't advise on other uses.

Can I see a sample first?

Yes. Samples are 10cm × 10cm squares in the thickness and finish you choose. The sample is free and you pay £7.99 postage. Order a sample.

Do you fit the flooring?

We supply the flooring only. Most customers lay it themselves: the tiles need no specialist tools, and the steps are shown above. For a larger project, a local floor fitter can install them. Use the flooring calculator to work out quantities before you order.

How do I clean the tiles?

Vacuum or sweep with a soft brush, then damp mop with a flat microfibre mop and a pH-neutral cleaner made for rubber flooring. Avoid string mops and excess water, which can seep between the tiles, and don't use bleach, solvents or strong degreasers. See floor care products.

How to clean rubber gym flooring

Do the tiles smell?

New tiles can have a mild rubber smell. It fades once they are unpacked and the room is ventilated.

Delivery & access

Free delivery applies to UK mainland orders over £300. For smaller orders, the delivery cost is shown under the Add to basket button.

Heavier orders arrive on a pallet, usually on a vehicle of up to 7.5 tonnes. Delivery is to the kerbside on a solid, accessible surface, with someone present to receive it. The driver can't move a pallet over gravel, steps or steep slopes. If a large vehicle can't reach you, tell us when you order and we'll ask the courier for a smaller one. Read delivery terms.

Returns & warranty

Check the condition, fit and finish before cutting or installing. Eligibility, exclusions and return costs are explained in our returns policy.

The tiles carry a five-year limited warranty against premature structural cracking caused by a manufacturing defect in normal indoor gym use. See the warranty terms.

A bigger space in mind?
