Dumbbells

Start with how you train. For general strength work at home, a few pairs of hex rubber dumbbells covering your main lifts — a lighter pair for shoulders and arms, a heavier pair for rows, presses and lunges — will go a long way. Pairs start from £4.99, so you can add weight gradually as you get stronger.

If you would rather sort everything in one go, a full run of weights makes more sense. Our dumbbell sets cover ranges from 1kg–10kg right up to 2.5kg–50kg and come with a rack, giving home gyms, personal training studios and commercial facilities a tidy, ready-to-train setup from day one.

The hexagonal head is more than a styling choice. Hex dumbbells sit flat on the floor without rolling away, which keeps your training area safer and gives you a stable base for renegade rows and press-up variations.

The rubber coating over each head cushions impact, dampens noise and helps protect both the weights themselves and the surface underneath, while the handle offers a comfortable, secure grip from rep one to rep twelve. It is a simple, durable format with no moving parts — exactly why hex rubber dumbbell pairs remain the go-to choice for home and commercial gyms alike.

There are three ways to buy dumbbells here, depending on your budget and space:

• Individual pairs — pick exactly the weights you need, from £4.99.
• Ready-made sets — a full weight run with a matching rack, such as the 2.5kg–15kg set with 6-tier rack at £239.99 or the 5kg–30kg set at £399.99.
• Custom builder — use the custom hex dumbbell set builder for a range from 5kg up to 20–50kg, in 5kg or 2.5kg steps, with or without a rack, from £226.

Prices change with offers, so compare a set with the individual pairs on the day you buy. Browse our Sets & Bundles for every package.

Dumbbells left on the floor get tripped over, kicked and knocked together — and they eat up valuable training space. A dedicated rack keeps every pair visible, off the ground and easy to grab mid-session.

Our dumbbell racks range from the compact 6-tier vertical rack at £59.99, ideal for the corner of a spare room, through to 3-tier storage racks up to 323cm wide for larger collections and commercial floors. Rubber-protected shelves cradle each pair, extending the life of your weights while keeping the training area tidy and safe.
