Cheap Gym Flooring Mats

Choose the thickness for your training and subfloor. 10mm suits lower-impact areas; 15mm and 20mm cover many general training setups; 30mm and 40mm are options for more demanding lifting areas. Check the product guidance for your intended use. Load, drop height and frequency also matter; flooring thickness alone does not guarantee protection.

Each tile covers exactly 1 square metre, so multiply the length and width of your space in metres and round up. We recommend adding a small waste allowance for offcuts around walls and pillars. Our Gym Flooring Calculator works it all out for you, including any bulk discount.

Use a suitable, clean, dry and level subfloor. Check the installation guidance for your surface and planned training before fitting. If you are laying over an existing floor covering, contact us for advice about your setup.

Fitting depends on your floor and layout. Tiles can be laid closely together on a suitable, clean, dry, level subfloor. Optional connectors fit 20mm, 30mm and 40mm connector-ready tiles; they do not fit 10mm or 15mm tiles. Check the installation guidance before choosing adhesive or other fixing methods.

Rubber flooring can be used in a suitable indoor garage gym. Check that the subfloor is clean, dry and level, and choose the thickness for your training. Review the installation and care guidance, particularly where damp or temperature changes may affect the space.
