Commercial Gym Rubber Flooring Care Package – Professional 5L Cleaning & Protection System

Maintain heavily used rubber gym flooring with the Equipped Gym Commercial Gym Flooring Care Package.

Designed for commercial gyms, PT studios, strength facilities, sports centres and other high-traffic training environments, this professional care system includes full-size 5L containers of Dr. Schutz Clean & Strip, Floor Mat and R1000 Floor Cleaner.

Together, the products provide a complete system for deep cleaning, protecting and maintaining SBR and EPDM rubber gym flooring.

Clean & Strip removes stubborn contamination and previous maintenance residues. Floor Mat creates a natural matt protective coating that makes the flooring easier to clean, while R1000 is designed for regular routine maintenance.

A microfibre spray mop and three reusable pads are also included for convenient application and ongoing cleaning.

How the System Works

1. Deep clean the flooring

Dilute and apply Dr. Schutz Clean & Strip to remove embedded dirt, chalk, old maintenance coatings and stubborn contamination.

Leave the solution to work for approximately 10 minutes before thoroughly rinsing the floor with clean water. Allow the flooring to dry completely.

2. Apply Floor Mat

Apply two even coats of Dr. Schutz Floor Mat to the clean, dry surface. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second coat on the same day.

Allow the flooring to cure overnight and avoid foot traffic for at least 12 hours.

3. Maintain using R1000

Use Dr. Schutz R1000 for routine cleaning to help keep the flooring hygienic, slip-resistant and easier to maintain.

Coverage

The 5L Floor Mat provides enough product for two coats across approximately 50m².

The 5L Clean & Strip provides approximately 150–250m² of coverage, depending on the condition of the flooring and dilution ratio.

The 5L R1000 provides up to approximately 5,000m² of routine cleaning coverage when diluted at the recommended ratio.

Recommended Maintenance Schedule

For commercial gyms, we recommend deep cleaning and reapplying Floor Mat approximately every 3–6 months, depending on footfall, chalk use and overall training intensity.

Important Information

Always test products on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the full floor.

Ensure the flooring is completely clean and dry before applying Floor Mat. Do not apply the protective coating to a floor containing cleaning residue, moisture or loose contamination.

Delivery is calculated at checkout based on order value, products and location. All stock is stored and dispatched from our UK warehouse. We dispatch weekday orders the following day. Friday and weekend orders will be dispatched on Monday.
